Madhuchanda Kar, MD, Ph.D. is a Consultant affiliated to Cancer
Center Welfare Home & Research Instituite, Thakurpukur, Kolkata
and Subodh Mitra Cancer Hospital and Research Center, Kolkata in
the departments of Hemato-Oncology and Medical Oncology. She was
Hony. Secretary of IMA-Academy of Medical Specialities (AMS) Kolkata
Chapter.She is now the Eastern Zonal Governing Body member of Indian
Academy of Clinical Medicine and Chairman of IMA-AMS Kolkata Chapter. |

She is
the Scientific Chairman of ACADIMA 2006, multi speciality All India
Mega Conference of Indian Medical Association. . She has been awarded
Fellowship of Indian Academy of Clinical Medicine, Indian College of
Physicians and IMA - Academy of Medical Specialties. She has over 50
publications (link) in various National Journals, Medicine Updates and
Text Books. She has been regularly presenting Guest lectures in various
National & International Scientific meets and CME. She is member
of the Editorial Board of The Journal of Indian Academy of Clinical
Medicine, Journal of Association of Physicians of India & Journal
of Internal Medicine of India.
She is
associated with research activities involved in Tumor Registry Program,
Gall Bladder Cancers, Lung Cancers, Anemia in Cancers, Hepatocellular
Carcinoma and Diarrhea in Immuno compromised host. She is the institutional
co-ordinator for National & International Multi-center Protocol
Studies and Phase II/III drug trials.
